Mr. Sukhera is a retired civil servant from the Pakistan Administrative Service. Over a distinguished career spanning nearly four decades, he has served at the federal, provincial, and district levels, led a national Authority and a national Corporation, besides holding various staff and instructional appointments. He served as Secretary to the Government of Pakistan for nearly nine years, with five prime ministers, heading the ministries of Privatization, Information & Broadcasting, Board of Investment, and Commerce & Textiles. He concluded his career as the Cabinet Secretary of Pakistan in 2023.
